bullying
Meaning:
Bullying is
an English word that can be translated into Spanish as 'bullying' or
'intimidation'. As such, it refers to physical and verbal intimidation of
victims are children and young people in school, and is exercised by one or
more companions.
Bullying is
the practice of violent or intimidating acts constant over a person. It can be
performed by one or more persons for the purpose of attacking, making the
victim feel unsafe, or to hinder their development in the class.
Generally,
the bullying begins with jokes that are intensifying, becoming heavier until,
sooner or later, result in aggression, whether physical or verbal. The
consequences of this are psychological and emotional damage to the individual
affected by bullying.
Usually it
practiced against children or young people who differ from their peers for
various reasons, and they have difficulties to defend themselves or feel
submissive due to low self-esteem or insecurity.
We can take an example as the child: Casey
Haynes
Casey Haynes is a 16 year old Australian
who was enduring the taunts, harassment and subjugation of other young people
in secondary school for a long time. Well, that lasted until last Monday when
things took an unexpected turn. An insolent little was subjected to Casey, hit
him several times after he defended himself and gave him what he deserved. The
fact was recorded and now the video is viral and multiple remixes. Casey Haynes
has become a hero for children and youth who have suffered the same abuse.
And his assailant: richard gale
Richard claims that he had almost
verbally taunted the moments before the video starts ... and became violent
because he was "very angry".
After
hesitating forth feeling bad about the coup, Richard says he has nothing to
apologize for because "Casey began the first."
But Casey
tells a different story, saying, "Richard just came out of nowhere and
grabbed me by the shirt, then punched me in the face."
